V7 Factory - Recommended by Qixing - Omega Ingenieur Engineer Watch In 2023, IWC unveiled a new generation of Ingenieur (Engineer) wristwatches at Watches & Wonders Geneva. These were designed by Gerardo Zundaga and returned to the classic design of Gerald Genta from the 1970s, featuring the Ref. 1832 model. The 40mm case is crafted with vertical sandblasting, circular sandblasting and mirror polishing techniques, and the meticulously designed lines present a more gentle and smooth contour. The thickness is 10.7mm. The bezel is firmly fixed by 5 screws. The details of the watch ears and the H-shaped strap have been redesigned to be more ergonomic, allowing for a more comfortable fit on the wrist. The most distinctive feature of this new design is that the dial reproduces the "grid" pattern used in the original Ingenieur SL model. During the production process, a recessed pattern needs to be formed by stamping on the iron dial base, followed by galvanizing treatment. This pattern is composed of perpendicular fine lines, which are embossed onto a soft iron blank and then undergo electroplating treatment. The pattern covers the entire interior area of the dial, while the outer area surrounding the minute hand scale remains smooth. The proportion and position of the IWC logo have been carefully adjusted to ensure a precise alignment with the "grid" pattern. The hour markers coated with luminous material ensure clear readability even in the dark. The dial features a large three-hand layout. The hour markers and the second hand have also returned to the design style of the 1970s. The 3 o'clock position is the calendar window, and the 6 o'clock position is the "INGENIEUR" logo. New original steel band mold, all structures are synchronized with the original ones. The materials, workmanship and wearing sensation are 100% in sync with the original ones.
